Once again, we hope to support Heritage Open Days in September 2026.

Trips on Mountbatten will be along the Grand Union Canal between Blisworth village and the north portal of the Blisworth Tunnel, Gayton Junction and back. Your trip will include a commentary covering some of the key points about the local canal history, including the building of the tunnel and the past importance of Blisworth as an inland port.

Trips on Community Spirit will be along the River Nene, starting just below Northampton Lock in Becket's Park Northampton. Your trip will include a commentary on the local history around the waterway.
